Michelle is a project manager at ISPH. Their professional interests include LGBTQ+ community health, health disparities & inequities research, and implementation of research into social policy. In particular, they are interested in exploring how transmasculine individuals navigate sex and sexual health, particularly in the context of personal, community, and structural factors. Their current work focuses on understanding and reducing the barriers to HIV-prevention and HIV treatment, particularly for marginalized and historically disinvested communities.
Michelle received their MPH in Community Health at CUNY’s School of Public Health & Health Policy.
