Avantika is a Doctoral Fellow at the ISPH. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Epidemiology at the CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy. She has experience in analysis for longitudinal cohort studies, causal inference methods for observational data, and high-dimensional data reduction and clustering techniques for immunological data. Avantika received an MS in Biostatistics from the University of Pittsburgh, where her research focused on propensity score-based analysis on the effectiveness of simultaneous kidney and liver transplants compared to liver-only transplants in adult patients on dialysis with Alcoholic Liver Disease or Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease.
