Determinants of vaccine hesitancy and uptake

We explored the relationships between various factors and vaccine hesitancy over time, and the association between hesitancy and subsequent vaccine uptake among populations eligible to be vaccinated. We found that while vaccine delay has decreased significantly in the cohort between October 2020 (before vaccines were available) to July 2021 (when vaccines were widely available), vaccine refusal has stayed fairly consistent. Vaccine hesitant participants were also significantly less likely to eventually get vaccinated. For more information, click here.
