Till Baernighausen is the Alexander von Humboldt University Professor at Heidelberg University, Germany’s oldest University, and Director of the Heidelberg Institute of Public Health (HIPH) in the Faculty of Medicine at Heidelberg University. He also serves as Senior Faculty at the Wellcome Trust’s Africa Health Research Institute (AHRI) in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
