Kaelyn is a Bioinformatician/Curator with the Aligning Science Across Parkinson’s (ASAP) network and the Michael J. Fox Foundation, investigating the roles of the microbiome in Parkinson’s disease through data harmonization, curation, and meta-analysis.
Kaelyn holds a BS in Forensic Science and Zoology and an MS in Bioinformatics from Northeastern University, with a focus on computational biology, biological data integration, and statistical analysis. Professional interests include open data standards, workflow development and optimization, and reproducible research.
