Josefina Nunez Sahr is a Research Associate at ISPH with a strong interest for community health and the transformative power of public health interventions. Dedicated to social justice and public policy, Josefina emphasizes the importance of comprehensive qualitative studies and mixed methods to understand and address the complex factors influencing health outcomes, aiming to enhance the well-being of populations.

Born and raised in Santiago, Chile, Josefina holds an undergraduate degree in Sociology from Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile and a Masters in Public Health from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain. Her international background has given her a broad perspective on global health challenges and the importance of collaborative efforts. She believes that effective health policies, informed by qualitative research, are essential for improving lives worldwide.
