Gabrielle “GG” deFiebre holds a PhD in Community Health and Health Policy from the CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy. During her doctoral training, GG conducted a mixed methods study on contraceptive use and sterilization among disabled people, using both a nationally representative dataset and in-depth qualitative interviews. Her work focuses on disability, neuroimmune disorders, and sexual and reproductive health. GG works at CUNY ISPH in the STEPS2 program as a co-investigator and interviewer. Outside of her work at ISPH, GG is the Director of Research and Programs at the Siegel Rare Neuroimmune Association (SRNA), where she leads research and education initiatives focused on rare neuroimmune disorders. Prior to joining ISPH, she conducted reproductive health research, program evaluation, and qualitative/mixed-methods research in other academic and nonprofit settings.

GG also holds an MPH in Community Health Education from Hunter College and a BA in Psychology/Anthropology from New College of Florida.
