Evan Curcio

Postdoctoral Fellow

Dr. Evan J Curcio (Postdoctoral Fellow, Rochman Group) has training in biomathematics, applied mathematics, and statistics. His research interests include mathematical and physical modeling of biological processes at a variety of scales, from cell packing, to organ morphogenesis, and beyond; he is currently applying machine learning to predictive climate variables to gain insight into vector-borne virus transmission.

Prior to joining the CUNY ISPH, Dr. Curcio completed his PhD in Biomathematics at North Carolina State University, MA in Applied Mathematics and Statistics at CUNY Hunter College, and BA in Mathematics at the University of Washington.
