Emily Sliva is a Research Scientist at ISPH working on Project PROTECTS, a longitudinal cohort study focused on understanding and improving respiratory infection outcomes. Her research expertise spans environmental, reproductive, and infectious disease epidemiology. Prior to joining ISPH, Emily completed two years of training as a CDC Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) Officer at the Minnesota Department of Health where she conducted outbreak investigations, surveillance system evaluations, and epidemiologic analyses across a range of infectious diseases.
Emily holds a PhD in Population Health Sciences from the Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and an SM from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
