Elena Hoeppner is a Project Coordinator at the ISPH. She has over 10 years of experience as a public health practitioner and analyst including 5 years at Los Angeles County Public Health. Elena has experience in county-level program evaluation, federal grant program management, and research and writing for health promotion in the environmental health and sexual health fields. Her experience spans nonprofit, academic, and government sectors. She works with a lens of social and racial justice and structural change to advance health equity.
Elena earned her MPH in Community Health from CUNY Hunter College and BS in Psychology and Biology from SUNY Stony Brook.
