Delaney Collins completed her BS in molecular biology at the University of Utah and is currently pursuing an MPH in epidemiology and biostatistics at CUNY SPH. It was her previous work in an oncology lab that pushed her to pursue a career in public health. Her research interests lie in combining computational tools and biological knowledge to solve complex health problems. Delaney’s work at CUNY ISPH involves developing a machine learning model to understand the effects of weather on the habitability ranges of viral vectors.
